Why sachkikhoj?
Currently, media platforms (mainstream media and Internet media) suffer from following major problems:
- Biased views on any topic – Most media platforms now are biased and have very skewed views on any topic. It does not cover all perspectives around a topic.
- No platform traces an issue comprehensively for long time – An issue becomes viral, there are lots of debates and content generated around it. But, a few days later, everyone forgets it. There is no single platform to my knowledge that one can go to and get all facts, perspectives around one issue.
- Irrelevant issues – Too much attention is given to issues that are not as important to the voter. Eg:- Sushant Singh Rajput case.
sachkikhoj is a humble attempt to solve these 2 problems. How does it solve it? Here, we have 1 post dedicated to a central question/issue. In that post, we present facts, all perspectives that we could put our hands on. We update it as and when we get new facts/perspectives about that question.

Why should I have interest in Indian politics at all?
- We are 140 crore people. We elect few people out of us to govern us. We give them all the power, the money to actually govern. We expect them to provide for us – food, education, disaster management, infrastructure, jobs, law and order, health etc.
- If we don’t take interest in politics, they may abuse this power. They may abuse the power by putting innocent people in jail, by letting go of bad people, by stealing our hard earned money.
- By taking interest in this, we will hold informed opinions, we can ask right questions, we can vote accordingly.
Our belief
We believe that if all the citizens want something unitedly, the ruling power cannot ignore it. So, if all citizens want that the government should do the right thing, government will be pressurized to do the right thing.
